MOUNTING A LAV MIC IN A TIE (0:40)

For this mount, we're going to roll the moleskin around the lav mic, leaving a small section of tape exposed to allow you to secure the mount in the tie knot. You can use another piece of tape to hold the ends of the tie together to stop them from rubbing together and reduce any rustling noise.

MOUNTING A LAV MIC THROUGH A BUTTON HOLE IN A SHIRT (2:12)

A great way to mount your lavalier microphone in a shirt is through one of the button holes. Place the lavalier mic through your chosen button hole, and use The Invisible Lav Covers - Moleskin behind the seam to keep the microphone secure, whilst the moleskin will reduce any friction noise between the seam.

MOUNTING A LAV MIC IN A T-SHIRT (3:42)

Another way to hide your lav microphone is in the collar of a t-shirt. Simply place the microphone capsule over the tape with the capsule in the middle of the pre-cut window. Then place a piece of moleskin over the lav microphone capsule. You can then place this mount in the collar of the talent's t-shirt.
