The Windkiller SE uses our much-loved, multi-pile fur for the ultimate protection against wind noise. The varying lengths of fur slow the wind down gradually before it reaches the microphone's capsules.

NATURAL FREQUENCY RESPONSE
The Windkiller SE has a transparent inner mesh, the same mesh used on The Spacer Bubble base. This helps to maintain a very natural frequency response.

A strong elasticated band securely grips your Tascam Portacapture X8 to keep the windshield in place.
FUR STRAP
A fur strap wraps underneath the X8's capsules and is secured with a push button to prevent wind from entering through the base.
