Seasoned producer and sound mixer James Sieczka has nearly two decades worth of experience in capturing sound for Film, Television Commercials, Sports and Reality TV programming. Known to his friends and colleagues as Jimmy the Sound Guy, he specialises in adventure shows, particularly those set in extreme or remote locations around the world.

Ellie Williams is a Bristol-based sound recordist specialising in wildlife documentaries. During her career she has camped in deep snow, climbed her kit up craggy ridges at the edge of the Arctic Circle, filmed alongside fluking sperm whales and enjoyed a hug from an orangutan. In her spare time, she likes heading on adventures into nature with her family, catching live music and recording musicians in fields...

Born and raised in Mexico City, sound recordist Pamela Casasa knew that she loved sound from early on. She began her journey working on any sound job she could find before moving to Liverpool UK and completed a BA in Sound Technology followed by a Masters in Audio Production from Westminster University in London.

From Brazilian rainforests and Indian mountains to volcanos in Nicaragua, production sound mixer Kevin Bellante never fails to raise an eyebrow with his photos from the field. He grew up in Chatsworth and now hails from Los Angeles, California in the San Fernando Valley. When he's not recording sound for productions near and far, which is seldom, he enjoys camping and scuba diving (most recently at the Great Barrier Reef). That, plus he's always trying to squeeze in some Dungeons and Dragons with friends. With such a busy schedule, we're thankful that he managed to talk to us a little about his career and give us a behind the scenes perspective on some of his recent adventures.

Michaela Girouard is a versatile and highly-experienced freelance boom operator/utility sound technician, currently based in New Orleans, Louisiana. She’s worked on a range of productions including Preacher, Darlin’, Take Your Pills, Synchronic and Hot Date, all of which have brought unique sets of audio challenges to the table. We find out more about her and what it's like to work in the New Orleans film industry.

Sound recordist Henau Marais has over 18 years of professional audio experience working on commercials, reality TV shows, feature films, documentaries, news and much more. He’s helped capture some incredible sound on broadcasts/productions for the likes of Disney, the BBC, Discovery, RedBull, Microsoft, Warner and HBO. We took some time out from Bubblebee HQ to have a chat with Henau in Cape Town, South Africa.

Bamfsound is Matt Brodnick and Ferdinand Almalvez, two production sound mixers who hail from Los Angeles. Their extensive experience ranges from film and documentaries to TV series and commercial work with credits including Everest, Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge, Motor City Masters, Beauty in the Broken, Dirty Money, L.A. Confidential and most recently Makhaliss, due for release in Japan.
