Listen to a Blackbird Song at Dawn

Listen to a recording of a blackbird in song at dawn by Field Recordist Benjamin Gale (spacewalkaudio.co.uk). It was recorded in June from Ben's balcony in the London borough of Camden, using a Sennheiser MKH8060 which was fitted with The Spacer Bubble mesh base to protect from wind, while keeping the natural frequency response of the mic. This was plugged into his Sound Devices MixPre 6, which he operated from his bedroom with the cable running through the window. The result is 4 minutes of pristine English 'city' wildlife sound.
