The Windbubble Pro Size Guide

Our Windbubble PRO windshields will give you the ultimate wind protection you can get for your omni-directional lavalier, field recording or headset mic. Whatever the make or size of your mic, we have a whole range of premium furry windshields just waiting to keep away those horrible wind noises and letting the clean and clear frequencies in.

There are four sizes of rubber mounts (specially designed to keep your mic in a consistent and optimal position) to fit the most commonly used microphones. Each size mount, is available as a standard version for greater discretion, or an extreme version with an inner foam core for those super windy days!

With the internal 'Bubble of dead air', opening and the length of fur increasing progressively with each step. If your mic fits in more than one, for example the DPA 4060 which fits with both sizes XS and Small, you will achieve greater wind resistance with larger Windbubble PROs because of the longer fur, though will in turn compromise a little on visibility.

Please note: The Windbubble PRO is only suitable for omnidirectional microphones. If you have a directional microphone, then the original Windbubble is the best microphone windshield for your mic. You can find the original Windbubble size guide here.
