Listen to a recording of a blackbird in song at dawn by Field Recordist Benjamin Gale (spacewalkaudio.co.uk). It was recorded from Ben's balcony in the London borough of Camden early one morning in June. He used a Sennheiser MKH8060 which was fitted with The Spacer Bubble mesh base to protect from wind, while keeping the natural frequency response of the mic.
