Description
The Big Windbubble provides some of the best wind protection for handheld microphones available today. The air enters the bubble for a short visit, finds it rather dull, and quickly leaves again without harming the microphone inside. So instead of the wind hammering on your mic and making those horrible "I'm in the middle of a hurricane!" sounds, it passes right on through.
The outside consists of carefully chosen black faux-fur that is soft, fluffy, and dense—built with long fur as standard for the best possible results when recording outdoors. A smooth mesh lining underneath the fur keeps things tidy, while an elastic mount at the bottom makes it easy and secure to fit on all standard handheld microphones.
Also available in a short-haired fur version for lighter wind conditions.

No. The Big Windbubble is a slip-on fur cover, not a full blimp system. For extreme wind conditions on boom mics, a full blimp with suspension may provide additional protection.
