Description
The Lav Concealer for RØDE is a revolutionary mounting solution for RØDE's popular lavalier microphones. Made from soft, biodegradable rubber, it lets you clip, tape, or sew your microphone into clothing while acting as a shock mount that absorbs vibrations and friction noise that would otherwise ruin your recordings.
The combination of rubber and metal materials is the key: the concealer body isolates your microphone from movement and handling noise, while the included wire fabric guard keeps clothing fabric away from the capsule. The result is crystal-clear audio with the microphone completely hidden.
Each concealer includes a durable metal clothing clip for quick attachment. Works with the RØDE Lavalier, Lavalier GO, smartLav+ and Link Lav (RØDE Lavalier option) and the RØDE Lavalier II (RØDE Lavalier II option). Available as singles or 6-packs for multi-talent productions.

There are two versions. The RØDE Lavalier option fits the RØDE Lavalier, Lavalier GO, smartLav+ and Link Lav. The RØDE Lavalier II option fits the RØDE Lavalier II only.
What's included with each Lav Concealer?
Each Lav Concealer comes with the rubber concealer (black or white), a wire clothing clip, a wire fabric guard and 6 pieces of Lav Concealer Tape. See What's in the Box for the full list.
How does The Lav Concealer reduce clothing noise?
The concealer works in two ways: the soft rubber body absorbs vibration and handling noise, while the included wire fabric guard keeps clothing material away from the microphone capsule to prevent rustling sounds.
Can I reuse The Lav Concealer tape?
The included tape pieces are single-use. You can purchase additional Tape rolls (120 pieces) separately for continued use. The tape is hypoallergenic and safe for skin contact.

You have three options: use the included wire clothing clip for quick attachment, apply the double-sided tape for more secure mounting, or sew the concealer directly into costumes for permanent placement.
Is The Lav Concealer visible under clothing?
No, the slim profile and soft rubber construction are designed to be completely invisible under any fabric, including thin materials like dress shirts and blouses.
What's the difference between the single and 6-pack?
Both contain identical Lav Concealers with the same accessories. The 6-pack is ideal for multi-talent productions or keeping backup concealers on set, and offers better value per unit.
Will The Lav Concealer fit other microphone brands?
