MATERIALS THAT MATTER
Crafted using a premium-quality, lightweight, open-cell foam material, this pencil mic windscreen is constructed to be super effective at reducing unwanted vocal plosive and swooshing noises from boom swinging, whilst simultaneously retaining the natural frequency response of your pencil or compact condenser microphone.

UNIVERSAL COMPATIBILITY
Available in black and two different sizes (M, XL), The Microphone Foam for Pencil Mics have been designed with polar patterns in mind, strategically positioning the microphone capsule to be more effective at defending the sensitive parts of the microphone’s pick-up pattern. The XL size is particularly effective at reducing unwanted noise from quick boom swings.

DESIGNED WITH DETAIL
By nature, directional microphones have a significantly more sensitive diaphragm compared to omnidirectional mics, making them more susceptible to wind and swooshing noise from swinging your boom pole. Our foam popshields have been constructed with a wider diameter to reduce and eliminate this noise from crosswinds or whilst operating your boom mic. Despite this the space between the end of The Microphone Foam for Pencil Mics is the perfect distance from the end of your mic to prevent vocal plosives while retaining optimal frequency transparency.

A note on The Microphone Foam for Pencil Mics

This foam is suitable for pencil condenser and compact condenser microphones with a diameter between 18-23mm and a depth from the tip to the base of the diaphragm vent up to 35mm.
