Description
The Foam Wind Cover is a black fur cover that slips over a shotgun microphone foam windscreen. Put it on when the wind picks up and take it off when conditions calm down, without swapping your foam.
It is sized to match The Microphone Foam for Shotgun Mics, in six sizes from XS to XL. The XS and XL covers also fit the Big Diameter XS and XL foams. Foam is not included.
Already using our shotgun foam? The cover turns it into two-layer wind protection. Need both pieces? The Foam Wind Cover Kit pairs the matching foam and cover in one pack.

Is the foam included?
No. The Foam Wind Cover is the fur cover only, made for people who already own our shotgun foam. If you need both pieces, choose The Foam Wind Cover Kit.
Which size do I need?
Choose the same size as your Microphone Foam for Shotgun Mics. The XS and XL covers also fit the Big Diameter XS and XL foams.
Do I have to remove the foam to use it?
No. The cover slips over the foam when the wind picks up and comes off again when conditions calm down, without swapping your foam.
How is it different from the Windkiller?
The Windkiller is a one-piece fur windshield. The Foam Wind Cover adds a removable fur layer to the foam you already use, so you only put the fur on when you need it.
