What's included in the Broadcast Earpiece Spares Kit?
Round, Satellite and Christmas Tree eartips (2 each in Small and Medium), one Standard and one Large Broadcast IEM Clip, and 4 Sidekick Filters (each a filter tool with a new filter) to maintain your Sidekick Broadcast Earpiece.
Is this compatible with the Sidekick 3?
The eartips work with both models. However, the Broadcast IEM Clips are designed specifically for the Broadcast Earpiece. For Sidekick 3, get the dedicated Sidekick Spares Kit instead.
How is the Broadcast IEM Clip different from regular clips?
The Broadcast IEM Clip is specifically designed for the Broadcast Earpiece's reinforced braided cable. It provides secure cable management optimized for broadcast environments.
Why are there two clip sizes?
Standard and Large clips accommodate different mounting positions and routing preferences. Use Standard for discreet placement, Large when you need more secure cable management.
How often should I replace the acoustic filters?
Replace filters when audio quality decreases or debris becomes visible. With regular use, check monthly. The kit includes replacement filters and tools for easy maintenance.
Which eartip style should I use?
Satellite lets in full ambience, Round lets in a little less with a fuller low end, and Christmas Tree blocks out most surrounding sound for noisy environments. Experiment to find what works best for each presenter.
Can I buy individual components separately?
Yes, eartips, clips, and filters are available as individual products. The Spares Kit bundles everything at a better value for complete maintenance coverage.
How do I use the filter replacement tools?
Each of the 4 Sidekick Filters is a one-use tool with a new filter on the end: use the empty end to pull out the old filter, turn the tool around, press the new filter in, then discard the tool.
Is one kit enough for multiple earpieces?
One kit provides enough components for maintaining several Broadcast Earpieces. For large productions with many units, consider stocking multiple kits.
What sizes of eartips are included?
Small and Medium sizes are included for each eartip style (2 of each).
