The Windbubble Pro (2-pack) gives you a pair of our most advanced lavalier windscreens for dual-talent shoots or backup inventory. Each Windbubble Pro features an integrated rubber mount that grips your microphone capsule with a perfect seal, dramatically improving wind rejection.
While the original Windbubble relies on friction fit, the Pro version's rubber mount creates an airtight chamber around the capsule—essential for the most challenging outdoor conditions. The fur exterior lets sound pass through naturally while stopping wind dead.
Available in 4 sizes to fit popular omnidirectional lavaliers. Perfect for interviews, multi-camera productions, or keeping a spare on hand.

Unlike hard plastic mounts, the Windbubble PRO's soft rubber mount absorbs shocks and stops vibrations from reaching your mic's capsule. The mount holds the fur windshield firmly in place — no slipping mid-take.

How do I know which size fits my microphone?
Each Windbubble PRO size is designed for specific microphone diameters: XS (3-5mm), Small (5-6.5mm), Medium (6-8mm), and Large (11.5-14mm). Check our size guide to find your mic model. If your mic isn't listed, contact us and we'll help you find the right fit.
Why is the Windbubble PRO only for omnidirectional mics?
The precision rubber mount is engineered specifically for omnidirectional lavalier capsules. The conical shape and positioning are optimized for omni pickup patterns. If you have a directional mic, the original Windbubble is designed for both omni and directional mics.
Should I get Standard or Extreme?
The Standard version handles light to moderate wind and offers the most discreet profile. The Extreme version adds an inner foam core for heavy wind conditions — ideal for ENG, broadcast, and challenging outdoor environments. When in doubt, the Extreme handles everything the Standard can, plus serious wind.
Will it affect my audio quality?
No. The multi-pile fur and acoustically transparent backing are designed to preserve your mic's natural frequency response. Wind gets blocked; dialogue stays crystal clear.
What's the benefit of the rubber mount?
The soft rubber mount does three things: (1) absorbs shocks and vibrations that would otherwise reach your mic capsule, (2) holds the fur windshield securely so it won't slip off, and (3) positions your mic at the optimal depth automatically — no guesswork about where to place it inside the bubble.
What's the difference between Windbubble and Windbubble PRO?
The original Windbubble uses an elastic opening and works with both omni and directional mics. The Windbubble PRO features a precision rubber mount (omni-only), offers better vibration isolation, and has a smaller profile due to the fixed mic positioning. The PRO is the premium choice for omnidirectional lavs.
Which color should I choose?
Pick a color that matches your talent's wardrobe or skin tone. Black is most versatile and hides in shadows. Beige and white work well for lighter skin tones and clothing. Grey is a good neutral option. We offer 4 colors so you can blend the Windbubble PRO into almost any shot.
Can I wash my Windbubble PRO?
Yes, but gently. Rinse with lukewarm water and a tiny drop of mild soap if needed. Reshape the fur with your fingers and let it air dry completely before using again. Avoid wringing, heat, or machine washing — this can damage the fur and rubber mount.
How long does a Windbubble PRO last?
With proper care, Windbubble PROs last for years of regular use. The fur is durable and maintains its wind protection properties over time. The rubber mount is designed to hold its shape and grip strength. All products are backed by our 2-year warranty.
